Flights to Prague

So this whole thing starts out at the Pittsburgh International airport, where I get on my flight at 4:55 p.m. EST and head east to O’Hare International in Chicago.

Approx. 411 miles, 1:35 flight time

I then have a roughly two and a half hour layover in Chicago, before getting back on a plane at 8:10 p.m. CST at O’Hare and cross the Atlantic towards Heathrow International in London.

Approx. 3,961 miles, 7:35 flight time

After crossing six times zones, it will be 9:45 a.m. BST (which is 4:45 a.m. EST), which could be completely awful with full potential to throw me off, but I then have a little over five hours of layover time in London, so I can try to sleep there.  Then, after those five hours, at 3:00 p.m. BST, I’ll get on my final plane to Prague Ruzyně Airport in Prague.

Approx. 645 miles, 2:00 flight time

And that’s it.  I’ll land in Prague at 6:00 p.m. CEST and meet up with the group and find my apartment. Ruzyně is apparently only six miles away from downtown Prague so it shouldn’t be very long. But for those keeping score at home, it will be noon on August 28 on the East Coast when I land in Prague, making my total travel time 19 hours, but with enough breaks to keep it very manageable.
I doubt anyone made it this far, but in case you did, thanks, and I’ll have pictures up as soon as I take some.
